Mariah Carey isn't the only Christmas queen.
Brenda Lee is finally leading the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart with her holiday anthem "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."
This is the first time the classic song has reached the No. 1 spot. The milestone marks the 78-year-old Lee's third career No. 1 on the chart and her first since 1960, when she topped the charts with "I’m Sorry" and "I Want to Be Wanted."
"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" has reached nearly 35 million streams and 21 million radio plays this year, according to Luminate data.

Christmas music dominates chart's top 10
Carey’s "All I Want For Christmas Is You" trails right behind Lee's song at No. 2.
The chart's top 10 is also accompanied by other holiday carols including Bobby Helms’ "Jingle Bell Rock" (No. 4), Wham!’s "Last Christmas" (No. 5), Burl Ives’ "A Holly Jolly Christmas" (No. 6) and Andy Williams’ "It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" (No. 10).
While the holiday season's grip over the charts in December is undeniable, non-Christmas hits are also in the top 10, including Jack Harlow's "Lovin On Me" (No. 3), Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer" (No. 7), Doja Cat's "Paint the Town Red (No. 8) and SZA's "Snooze" (No. 9).
Brenda Lee drops music video for holiday classic
Ahead of the 65th anniversary of "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," Lee at last released an official music video, which features country superstars Tanya Tucker and Trisha Yearwood.
"Trisha and Tanya are my buds," Lee told the Country Music Television network. "They're always up for anything we ask each other. If one of them asks me to do something, I'll do it. If I ask one of them, they'll do it. So, I just thought it would be cool to have them on it. And their tenure in the industry speaks for itself, as does the song 'Rockin'. So I was just very honored that they saw fit to do it."
When did Brenda Lee record Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’?
Lee recorded the Christmas classic in 1958 at the age of 13.
The track was written by Johnny Marks, a Jewish American singer responsible for other classics such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "A Holly Jolly Christmas."
The song was prominently played in the 1990 classic Christmas movie "Home Alone."
